Methodology

 

1. Surveys

Surveys to help you understand your conflict management style, negotiating methods, leadership style, type A/B behaviour, motivation, personal values etc.,

2. Self – Analysis

You will be constantly required to evaluate their behaviour as seen by their direct reports, co-workers, supervisors, class participants, and facilitators.

3. Processes

85% of the program consists of processes to understand and practice the theory and principles of the subjects under discussion.

4. Practice

The units provide for participants to practice the processes among themselves prior to returning home, as well as using the actual opportunities/ problems or incidents they are currently facing.

5. Group Discussion

In addition to sharing their individual thoughts, participants will be placed in groups for further discussion and elaboration of various topics.

6. Relevance

Prior to each session, participants will be required to examine their current opportunities/ problems in relation to the topics for the next session.

7. Competency Building

Approximately 15% of the class consists of competency building where the instructors explain the theory/ principles of the topic under discussion, and describe actual examples to amplify the learning process.

8. Action Plans

At the conclusion of each unit, as well the conclusion of each week, the participants will be asked to establish a “Back-Home Action Plan” to actually put into use the various topics and processes discussed during the program. These action plans are measured and monitored between sessions.
